For your peace of mind we are the first licensed member of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) in the area being the leading professional body for estate agency. The NAEA was established with the goal of upholding good practice and high professional standards in UK estate agency and its 10,000 members practice across all aspects of property both in the UK and overseas, including residential and commercial sales, letting, property management, business transfer, auctioneering and land. As Member Agents of the Ombudsman of Estate Agents we must also follow the Letting Code of Practice. This sets out the framework within which Member Agents must operate and the standards of service they must provide for both tenants and landlords. We are also licensed members of the Association of Residential Lettings Agents (ARLA) and regularly attend the local meetings keeping abreast with the ever changing letting guidelines.

Steve Kimberley MNAEA, MARLA

Steve Kimberley started in the profession in 1979 and has gained considerable and valuable experience in corporate and independent residential estate agency practices where he achieved the position of Associate Partner. His background in estate agency started in Surrey and South London and he has now been resident in this area since 1982 where he has gained unrivalled local knowledge and insight into the community. He is a member of the National Association of Estate Agents (MNAEA) and has been chairman for the local branch of this association. Steve is an avid football fan and has strong connections and sponsors many local sports in the area. Together with his wife Carol and son Nick he has lived locally in Penryn and Mabe for many years and they have recently moved to their current property in the Helston area. He has been chairman of a local football club, President of the Cober Valley and Helston/Lizard Rotary Clubs and is currently the President Elect for the Stithians Show committee for 2013.
Gill Haywood – Business Manager
Gill has been working alongside Steve since Kimberley’s foundation in 1997. Gill is the company accounts and business manager responsible for the organisation of the office. Behind every good business man they say there is a woman and in Steve’s case this is Gill. Gill is an associate member of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) of which she regularly attends the local area meetings. Gill is married to Robin and has grown up children with their own families for which she is a very caring Grandma.
Cathryn Pryor, APIP (Mandy) – Admin, IT and Lettings Manager

Mandy has been living in Falmouth since 1983 with her husband Colin, she attended Truro Grammar School and she has two grown up sons who also reside locally. She has been with Kimberley’s since the business started in 1997 working alongside Gill and Steve and she is responsible for setting up and managing the Administration, IT and Lettings side of the business. In 2008 she set up and opened Kimberley’s Lettings and this is now a very successful branch of the Kimberley’s business. Mandy has attended several training courses through the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) and Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) and is an associate member of the (NAEA) she is also a qualified member of the Association of Professional Inventory Providers (APIP).
Adam Pryor – Assistant Manager
Adam was born in Falmouth and attended the local Falmouth School. He has been connected with Kimberley’s since 1998 when he was employed as holiday and Saturday cover at the age of 13! After a short break working elsewhere Adam returned to full time agency work with Kimberley’s in 2005 and after excelling in sales in Truro he moved to Falmouth in 2007 to enhance the team. In Spring 2011 Adam was made Assistant Manager, a long way from his early days at Kimberley’s photocopying and filing! Adam is a keen sportsman creating many connections through a long period of playing for successful local football teams and more recently in rediscovering his love for the game of golf. Husband to Victoria, father to Redley, Adam enjoys spending his leisure time with the family, playing and watching football or relaxing with a round of golf which often includes a trip to the 19th hole!
Abigail Orchard (Abbey) – Negotiator
Abbey is a Falmouth girl and was employed with Kimberley’s after a successful work placement from the local Falmouth School. Abbey continued her studies whilst working for Kimberley’s on a part time basis and has a degree in Leisure and Tourism from Plymouth University. Having worked for Kimberley’s in residential sales for a few years Abbey left to get some experience within the Letting side of the business with a local competitor only to return to Kimberley’s in 2010. Kimberley’s are very pleased to have her back home where she belongs! She is an extremely hard working and popular member of the Kimberley’s family. Abbey is engaged to her partner Simon and they have recently undertaken and completed the refurbishment of their own home.
Sophie Cook – Trainee Negotiator
Sophie started to help with Saturday cover in 2010 and helped out occasionally during holiday times whilst she completed her college course. Sophie is now employed full time as a trainee negotiator. Sophie has a friendly and helpful personality and her knowledge of the area is developing well.
Julie Symons – Senior Administrator
Julie is proud to be Cornish she was born in Porkellis and attended Halwin Primary and Helston Comprehensive School and has been residing in Falmouth for the last 30 years. Having worked with Mandy previously Julie was her first choice to come and assist her within months of Kimberley’s opening in 1997. Julie is very competent and accurate and her workload is astounding, not a lot fazes her and she is a very popular member of the Kimberley’s team and general public alike.
Lorraine Hockley – Lettings Negotiator/Admin Assistant
Lorraine attended the local Falmouth School and resided in Falmouth for many years before recently moving to Helston with her partner Andy. Having previously worked for a local highly respected firm of solicitors Lorraine was taken on in late 2009 to ease the ever increasing workload and pressure in lettings and to assist with administration. Lorraine has had to learn a lot of new skills in a short space of time and she has taken this all in her stride and become invaluable in her job.
